Eden makes it easy to browse and apply for roles with churches, charities, ministries, and Christian organisations across the UK and beyond. This guide will show you how to explore opportunities, use filters, view employer profiles, and apply for a role directly from the site.
1. Start on the Eden Jobs Home Page
On the Search Jobs page you’ll find:
A search bar to look up keywords, job titles, or organisations
A list of featured Christian jobs and volunteering roles
Filters to narrow your results by location, category, or contract type
A scrolling list of the latest roles posted by Christian organisations
You can browse freely without creating an account, or sign in to save jobs for later.
2. Use Filters to Narrow Your Search
The Advanced Filters on the left help you find roles that match your situation:
Location — enter a postcode or click Use my current location
Job Categories — such as Ministry & Pastoral, Youth Work, IT & Digital, Admin & Office Support
Contract Type — full-time, part-time, contract, or voluntary
Working Pattern — where provided (hybrid, flexible, on-site)
As you adjust the filters, the job list updates instantly.
3. Explore Job Cards
Each job card gives you key details at a glance:
Organisation name and logo
Location
Salary or pay range
Hours or schedule
How recently the role was posted
Contract type and job category tags
Click any card to view the full job listing.
4. View the Full Job Listing
A job listing page includes all the information you need:
Job summary and description
Salary and location details
Working hours and schedule
Annual leave and benefits (if provided)
PDF attachments or job packs
Closing date
A link to the organisation’s Eden profile
You’ll also see other roles from the same employer when available.
Click Apply to follow the organisation’s application process. Some roles take you to an external website; others use email or a PDF job pack.
5. Explore Organisation Profiles
When you click the organisation name on a job listing, you’ll see:
Their mission and statement of faith (when provided)
Videos, posts, and recommended resources
A list of their current vacancies
Links to their website and social channels
This helps you understand the culture and values of the ministry or charity before applying.
6. Save Jobs to Review Later
If you’re logged in, you can click the bookmark icon on any job card or job listing to save that role to your personal list. This is useful if you’re browsing on mobile or planning multiple applications.
7. Keep Searching as New Roles Appear
New vacancies are added regularly by churches, charities, Christian schools, and ministries of all sizes. If you want Eden to notify you when new matches appear, see our separate guide:
